    Coaching Courses

Introduction to Coaching Courses ( ITCC ). The courses have been booked and we are pleased to advise that there are 16 courses available spread across the State, starting in mid September and finishing in mid November. The registrations are now live on the VLAA website through the online system.

Click here to see a summary sheet. This sheet will take you directly to the registration form for each course listed by clicking on the “Register Here” link alongside each course.

We would love as many parents as possible to complete these courses and the club will pay for parents to attend. The more coaches we have the better we will be able to support our athletes and share the responsibility of the coaching.

    Australian Little Athletics Championships

Congratulations to Lucy Dodd who was named Vice Captain of the Victorian girls team to compete at the Australian Little Athletics Championships on Saturday 24th March in Brisbane. She competed in the high jump, shot put and javelin events for the U13 age group.

The event featured 22 under 13 athletes from each state competing in the Australian Teams Championships and 4 under 15 athletes from each state competing in the Australian Multi-Event Championships.

Victoria took out the Trevor Billingham Trophy for the U13 teams championships. Lucy assisted this result with an overall 2nd in the High Jump and 10th in the Javelin. Well done Lucy! Fantastic results and a great opportunity to represent Victoria at a National Level.
